Stacey Krizan founded WOW in 1997 as a marketing and
design agency. WOW quickly grew, doubling revenues for
the next 4 years. In 1998, when Dave Carr joined WOW
as COO and president, WOW began incorporating live events
into the product mix and establishing a high-profile
client base that included Kimberly-Clark, Georgia-Pacific,
Southern Company, CitiFinancial, and Siemens to name
a few.
In 1999, Ms. Krizan was named one of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs
in Atlanta by Catalyst Magazine, and as recently as 2008,
WOW was named one of Event Marketer Magazine’s TOP 100
Event Marketing Agencies in the country.
WOW’s staff of 10 award-winning creative directors,
designers, programmers, writers, producers and ROI professionals
serve as consultants and advisors to our clients. Because
our staff has anywhere from 7 to 30 years experience apiece,
we are able to recognize trends in the industry, including
green initiatives, building brands by creating dialogs with
audiences, and measuring success through ROI metrics. We have
been recognized for this leadership in such publications and
Associations as Event Marketer, Atlanta Convention & Visitor
Bureau, Meeting Planners International, Green Meetings Industry
Council, Convention South, and Business Marketing Association.
